Approximately 130 member organizations belong to the German AIDS Service Organizations (DAH) at present. Legal persons who pursue non-profit and charitable aims for the purpose of the DAH association aims (see by-laws and mission statement) can become proper members; they have the right to speak, the right to make proposals, and voting rights in the General Assembly.
Patron members, honorary members and state associations have a right to speak and a right to make proposals but do not have voting rights.
The regional AIDS service organizations and other DAH member organizations inform and counsel people from all demographic groups (in person, over the phone or online) – on location as well, for instance, where gay people, drug users or buyers meet.
They offer self-help and counseling groups for people with HIV, their friends and family, support and care for people with HIV/AIDS at home, in the hospital, in prison and in drug therapy facilities, arrange information and continuing education events, and do press and public relations work.
You’ll find all of the addresses here.
